Le Mill launches Chloe in March 2016
(fashion trends) Every year Le Mill strives to bring to its’ customers a curated selection of the world’s most coveted brands. In March 2016, we are happy to add Chloe to our lineup. Chloe was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, who helped redefine French fashion in the postwar period. Rejecting the stiff formality of the 50’s fashion, she created soft, body conscious clothes from fine fabrics and called them “luxury prêt-à-porter”.
Unique for their time, they were beautifully made clothes available off the rack. This marked the beginning of the legacy. Today Chloe has a range of products in categories such as apparel, accessories and beauty.
“Chloé” – a name they chose for its warm, feminine appeal – is perfectly in synch with the new mood of Paris: youthful and modern in design, and slightly audacious in spirit. At Le Mill we are launching with Chloe Bags in SS16
The popularity of Chloé bags have ebbed and flowed with the volatile fashion climate through the years. The French luxury label has scored multiple hits with its recent lineup of bags and we bring to our customers iconic bag such as Drew, Hudson and Faye to name a few. Speaking on the brand Chloe’s creative director Clair Waight Keller said.
“Chloé speaks to me on so many levels. First because it’s feminine. I love the free-spirited, effortless attitude, the kind of girl Chloé is. It’s about those fabulous pieces you wear so many different ways and the spirit of confidence you have when you wear them. It’s real.”
